Regular Service and Maintenance

How We Handle Revolving Doors

  1. The revolving door wings will be removed. The door wings will receive new factory weather-stripping on the top, bottom and sides. The door pockets that slide on the hangers will be cleaned and greased allowing the doors to be removed and installed with ease.
  2. The center shaft with the collapsing hangers will be removed. All eight top and bottom hangers will be taken off the center shaft and broken down, including the sleeve, rollers ball and tension spring. All parts will be cleaned and properly lubricated.
  3. The floor speed control will be removed. The lubricant inside the speed control will be drained and replaced. The tension brake located inside will be adjusted for proper speed.
  4. The door will be put back together and all handles, push rubber and bumpers will be checked and tightened.

Balanced / Swing Doors

  1. The swing door will be removed. The top and bottom bearings on the door will be cleaned and greased.
  2. The tension hinge tube will be taken down. The top spline shaft that holds the pole into the door check in the header will be cleaned and lubricated.
  3. The bottom gear box that controls tension will be taken apart. The (2) gears and locking pin will be brushed down, cleaned out and a Teflon lubricant will be applied to all parts and the box will be sealed.
  4. The threshold will be inspected to see if it is sitting down hard to the surface below, if not the anchors will be removed the underside will be cleaned and the threshold will be set with new anchors.
  5. The top guide check located in the header will be cleaned of all dirt and debris to allow the door roller to operate properly in the track.
  6. The door will be put back together and all adjustments will be made.
